Whether you envision a classy cocktail hour or a monumental bash, we provide a natural environment of interaction and energy that helps create the celebration you desire. Your song requests for special dances are covered, and we provide our own sound technician as well.

Funky Business is a local band who has played together for years, in contrast to corporate bands who are assembled by performance. We are the same tight, seasoned group at every wedding, every event, every stage. We know each other’s moves, trust each others’ instincts, and built our own sound together. That chemistry shows up in our music. We’re a family onstage and off, and that’s why the groove hits harder, the transitions are seamless, and the dance floor stays alive.

We play weddings all around Colorado, including Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Boulder, Denver, Greeley, Estes Park, Steamboat Springs, Vail, Aspen, and beyond. We also have connections with an extensive network of vendors across Northern Colorado.

We can provide all your entertainment and save you time, money, and hassle. Here are some of the services we provide

PARTY BAND: Our party band includes drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals, and our energy boosting horn section made up of saxophone, trumpets, and trombone. From classic funk and spirited soul to danceable disco and contemporary pop, we’re sure to have you grooving, boogying, and singing along. If you have the space and budget, we highly recommend this complete combo for maximum energy!

JAZZY COMBO: For quieter settings like during dinner or cocktail hour, our combo plays everything from vocal and instrumental classics to today’s pop with a smooth, improvisational flair. Instrumentation typically consists of drums, guitar, bass, sax, and vocals. This combo adds class and elegance and carries live music throughout the evening.

CEREMONY MUSIC: If you need amplification and/or live music for your ceremony, we can provide it. We will take care of microphones and speakers as well as special recorded music or a setup of live acoustic guitar, piano, or a variety of instruments.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES: Need someone to emcee the reception events? We can take care of the announcements, introduce the wedding party, and help facilitate toasts. We understand that flexibility is key during weddings, and we can keep your reception exciting and running smoothly.
